Fervency

"not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;"(Rom.12:11-12)
There is no alternative to fervency of spirit when it comes to commitment to the Lord.
When your passion begins to decline, you already start to die because you were born(saved) to burn. The soul of the believer is intended by God to be a furn

ace of burning zeal for His glory (Matt.5:16).
The power that raised Jesus from the dead with which we were endued was not given to us for interior decoration or for a mere sense of belonging.
We have received the ability of God for the accomplishment of His purpose and fulfillment of His will.

Consider Acts 1:8 " But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and YOU SHALL BE WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Wake up from your slumber fellow soldiers of the cross, banish excuses, and dethrone carnal interests and proclivity from your precious soul...
"You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier." (2Tim.2:4-5)
Strengthen the feeble kneels, be on guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous and be strong as we usher in the second coming of our Lord, Jesus the Lord!

Distraction

" For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica..." (II Tim.4:10)
I know people who in yesteryears walked with the Lord in singleness of heart, with absolute commitment and undivided attention; they were ardent students of the Bible, copious at quoting scriptures and were people given-over to much praying.
As a result of such unreserved commitment

to the Lord, vision and passion was 'birthed' in their hearts for heralding the gospel at all cost, whether by life or by death. They talked about their evangelistic vision and plans to impact the world with d word of truth.
Alas, today many of them could hardly remember if they ever had such passion. They now have different vision, ambition and values. The passion to herald the gospel for which they lived and were ready to die has become to them one of those childish ambitions garnered in the days of' 'ignorance'.
They have been distracted!
...ends have to meet, certain social status must be attained, the pinnacle of career must be reached while support for football teams is not left-out. Though they re not wrong in themselves, yet in the quest for such legitimate affairs brass have been substituted for gold (Luke 8:14).
There is little or no time for communion with God; days of protracted study of the word have gone: hence, lack of sensitivity to God, dis-inclination to the cause of the gospel, loss of God-given vision are few of the apparent results.
Hmnn! distraction! - one of devil's most terrible and most subtle end-time means of robbing believers of their effectiveness has become the order of the day.
Time is short, Jesus is coming back soon, the world is dying and interestingly, God has not given-up on you, He is still counting on you. You are still very relevant in God's end-time agenda.
I charge you to "Remember therefore, from where you have fallen, repent and do the first works..."(Rev.3:5) will you?

Spurgeon's Quote on Evangelism

"If we do not see souls saved today or tomorrow, we will still work... We are labouring for eternity, and we count not our work by each day's advance, as men measure theirs; it is God's work and must be measured by His standard" - Charles Spurgeon

Knowledge of The Truth

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32)
IF every believer knows his rights and privileges in Christ then every believer will live his entire life free of oppression and harassment of the devil;
Every believer should know what Jesus had done for them in redemption and all He has freely given him (1Cor.2:12).
Oppression, sickness, disease and infirmity of any kind would not be found in a believer's life if he is more conversant with what Christ had done for him more than he is with sport, global economic and financial issues, crime report, fashion and general trend of this world.
I dare say that, if we all know our IDENTITY in Christ we will ALL live our lives in perfect health ABSOLUTELY free of sickness (John 8:32)
The knowledge of the finished work of Christ is the key to the victorious life. blessed?

Made Strong By The Word

"How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word." (Psalm 119:9)
He does great harm to his own soul, he who neglect the word of God; for he cannot but fall into temptation again and again having despised the anchor of his soul which is the word of God.
Man 'without' God is a 'mass' of weakness; it is wisdom therefore to take advantage of the stre

ngth of God by latching unto His word by reading, studying, meditating and acting it.
Real, indomitable strength is divine (Psalm 62:11) and humans can only walk in this divine attribute by taking a careful heed to the word of God.
Moral strength, Spiritual and Physical can only be by the word of God.
Have you been captivated by your weakness and shortcomings? If you ll give yourself over to meditation in the word of God, you will soon see yourself walking in the very strength of God as though you were never 'down'. blessed?

You Are Not of The World!

"If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." (John15:19)
Many times Jesus told His disciples with a strong affirmative tone that they are not of the world.
The epistles from Romans to Jude and even revelation as well as book of Acts are replete with sim

ilar words of admonition telling believers that we re strangers and aliens here on earth, and the need to live as such. Viz:

Eph.4:17-20
"This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ"

Romans 12:2
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."

The Greek word (ekklesia) from which the English word 'Church' is derived means 'the called-out ones'. We have been CALLED, OUT of the world, not for malicious discrimination but TO SHINE AS LIGHT (Phil.2:15).
He who called us has recreated us and thereby has given us a new spirit (1Cor.2:12) and that is what has set us apart from the world. There might not be physical difference between us and the world - in terms of looks and stature, location and where we work e.t.c - but there is a great spiritual distinction between the believers and the rest of the world.
Its therefore the responsibility of the man born again to be fully conscious and to continue to maintain the consciousness of who he is in Christ Jesus as recorded in scriptures and by so doing he ll be able 'to keep himself unspotted from the world' (James1:27). blessed?

Qoute From Reinhard Bonke

"A church is not a signs and wonders club, a tongues movement, or a healing clinic. Far in front of all the phenomena is the teaching and the preaching of the Word of God, though in power and demonstration. Miracles are the support system of the truth. God bless." REINHARD BONNKE
