The man of faith

The man of faith has a characteristic craving for the impossible. He defy the impossible and overcomes. All he does is win!

My Testimony

Over the years, I have seen human promises failed, I know what it means to be disappointed, I am acquainted with the feebleness and frailty of the arm of flesh. Howbeit, time again, I have proven the Integrity of God's word and its infallibility. Someday, grass will wither, flowers will fall away, the sun will set never to rise again and time will be no more, the earth will wear out like a garment, and be rolled up like a robe; yet THE WORD OF GOD remains and will still remain steadfast and sure - on this solid ground I stand!!!

Holy Spirit - The Paraclete (Advocate)

"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever" (John 14:16 NKJV)

While Jesus is the believers' advocate in heaven (1 John 2:1); Holy Spirit is our advocate on earth (Mark 13:11, Luke 12:11-12)
An advocate protects the interest of another, he defends from abuse and assault, and helps in the face of opposition. Jesus clearly states that the Holy Spirit will do these for the believer:
“Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” (Luke 12:11, 12 NKJV)

"But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit." (Mark 13:11 NKJV)

It is wonderful to know that, God did not leave us defenceless, we have an 'advocate-defender' in the Holy Spirit. We have all of God in Him; of a truth we have been 'delivered from the striving of the people' (psalm 18:48) because the almighty defender lives in us (1John 3:24, 4:13). glad?

Holy Spirit - The Paraclete

Jesus did not speak much about the Holy Spirit until when He was about to die.  One of the profoundest thing He said about the Holy Spirit is that He called Him "another Paraclete" translated 'another comforter' in Bible. This expression is from the Greek words "alos parakletos"  - another Paraclete - this does not mean another kind of Paraclete; Jesus means a Paraclete exactly like myself.
The Greek word  'parakletos' means an advocate, helper, comforter, counsellor, intercessor, guardian, friend, provider, teacher - All of these describe who Jesus was to the disciples, that is exactly who the Holy Spirit was, to the disciples and that is who He is to us today.
The believer could not have a valid reason for feeling lonely, helpless, hopeless, rejected and forsaken - because the Holy Spirit in Him, is "all-sufficient".
What a life! The all-sufficient God has come to dwell in us by His Spirit (1 John 3:24, 4:13). glad?

The Necessity and Urgency of The Gospel (3)

"For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!" (I Corinthians 9:16 NKJV)
The gospel must be preached as a matter of necessity and urgency; its the only means for the salvation of souls. Odds and contradictions are not tenable excuses; the odds were there in the days of Jesus and the Apostles, and will not only remain but will abound as the day of the Lord draws near.
As you preach the gospel, you must be ready to go against odds "Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution."(II Timothy 3:12 NKJV)
It must be preached at all cost whether by life or by death (Phil. 1:20-21)
The prayer of  David Brainerd (a notable missionary to American Indians) readily comes to mind: "oh that I might be a flaming fire in the service of the Lord. Here I am send me to the ends of the earth... send me from all that is called earthly comfort, send me even to death itself if it be but in Thy service and to promote Thy Kingdom."

This gospel must be preached AT ALL COST! Take it upon your self like Paul did: "...for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!" (I Corinthians 9:16 NKJV) It is beyond what is in vogue or the popular practice; it won't be done on the flowery bed of ease. there are hardships to endure; tides to go against; and opinions and thoughts to defy. Yet this gospel of the kingdom must be preached whether by life or by death!

True Humility

"So then, as it is written, Let him who boasts and proudly rejoices and glories, boast and proudly rejoice and glory in the Lord. [Jer. 9:24.] (1 Corinthians 1:31 AMP)
Bible never say we should not boast, it rather says we boast in the Lord. A clear understanding of what God has done for us in Christ spontaneously excites gratitude. If you see it, like some said, "there will be a shout in your heart!"
There is a kind of humility that glories in human weakness, his unworthiness and frailties; thats at best religious humility, and its nothing more than self-righteousness.
True humility glories in what the Father has done for us in Christ (1Corinthians 1:30-31); its hallmark is abundance of thanksgiving to God for, His redemption and demonstration of grace in the cross and resurrection of Christ.
He prays in religious humility he who says "am a wretched worm, unworthy to approach His throne"; thats not acceptable before God.
The man who the bible truly recognises as humble regularly speaks 2Corinthians 3:5 in various paraphrases: "It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God." (2 Corinthians 3:5 NLT). He speaks with God in prayer with boldness full of gratitude. "Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God's holy people) in the Light." (Colossians 1:12 AMP)
We rejoice because of what He did and whom he has made us in Christ. Hallelujah!  blessed?

The Necessity and Urgency of The Gospel (2)

"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures," (I Corinthians 15:1-4 NKJV)
Under God, a man cannot be genuinely saved, until he has heard 'the gospel'.
Beloved preachers! I challenge you to cross-examine your message once again, are you sure you have been preaching 'the gospel' or 'another gospel' (Gal.1:6)
It is not all good messages you can call the gospel; it cannot be the gospel just because the preacher has credibility among men. It must be what the Bible calls 'the gospel' before it can save people (Rom.1:16)
The Bible is definite about what the gospel is - it is "the message of Christ's death, resurrection and ascension and its concomitant benefit to human race" - This is what Paul the Apostle presents as THE GOSPEL and anything other than this is 'another gospel' (Gal. 1:6-11).
The prime concern of the gospel is about man's eternity. The gospel has a lot to do with man's existence on earth, for instance, healing and health, godly living, prosperity etc. yet, any message whose primary emphasis is on the benefit for this present world, cannot be the gospel.
The gospel is not just a 'tool' to make people rich or to a live good life in this world, otherwise it wont be different from the common motivational messages. The gospel addresses the core/vital need of man. Man's 'vital'  need is not such things as money and physical possession. The 'vital' need of man is fellowship with His God - he must be brought to God in righteousness and true holiness, his sinful nature must thus be replaced with the nature of God, he must by it become a citizen of heaven otherwise he will end-up in eternal damnation.  This is is what Paul preached, this what they received (believed) and this is what saved them "...I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved..." (I Corinthians 15:1, 2 NKJV)
He put it thus in 1Cor.2:2   "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." (I Corinthians 2:2 NKJV)
If this is not what you believed, you need to accept the gospel and be saved so as to avoid eternal shock of discovering when it would be too late that you were never saved.
Dear preacher, If this is not what you ve been preaching, you need to to change your message and start preaching the gospel otherwise you might end up facing the eternal reality that your listeners were never saved.   seen this?

The Necessity and Urgency of The Gospel (1)

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? "(Romans 10:14 NKJV)
The gospel of Jesus is the  message sinners must believe before they can be saved. They must hear it before they can believe it. They must come in contact with it whether by face to face preaching, prints or electronic media.
Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6) and for anyone to be saved, he must believe in Jesus. The gospel presents Jesus, thats the reason the Apostles claimed to be preaching Christ when they were preaching the gospel (Acts 5:42, 17:3, 2Cor.4:5). To believe the gospel is to believe in Christ the saviour.
Salvation cannot be earned, not even by good works. Salvation can only be received through faith in the gospel of Jesus.
Fellow saints and soldiers of the cross, think not nor assume in thine heart that a nice man would be saved by his manners, nor an easy-going and seemingly innocent man by his simplicity. All must believe the gospel - the cruel and the harmless, the good, the bad and the murderer, the humble and the proud alike.
Don't assume your uncle is saved because he is kind-hearted,  preach to him the gospel. Don't feel too comfortable among your unsaved friends, let them hear the gospel. The standard of God is the gospel of Christ and God will never bend his standard. The gospel is a necessity and the only one there is for salvation of souls ...until they hear it and believe it they wont be saved.
Go therefore, go where the sinners are, go and tell them about Jesus.

THE FORCE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (3)

Having established in the previous post that the born again man has the nature of Righteousness, the cream of this thought is the fact that the righteous nature prompts and inclines towards righteous living.
The righteous nature operates in the believer as an inward force and compulsion that propels him to live right.
It is bizarre to threaten a believer with hell or evil because you want him to live a godly life.
The will of God is not burdensome for the believer; it is his home, he is a product of God's will. "Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome." (1 John 5:3 NLT)
The unbeliever is helplessly sold-out to sin; he lives in sin, he could wish otherwise, but he cannot but walk in sin because 'sin' lives in him as a nature "So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it."(Romans 7:17  NLT). It is not so for the believer, by divine nature he is empowered  to live right.
When a believer commits sin, we don't say he has a sinful nature; just like a small boy who is mimicking a puppy is not called a dog for barking. Paul gives us the right perspective to it : in spite of the various wrong doings in the Corinthian Church, The Apostle did not at any time called them sinners, rather, he reminded them of who they are:

"Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself," (1 Corinthians 6:19 NLT)

"Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NLT)

Are you a believer struggling with sin? All you need to do is to yield to the seed of God on your inside, by taking heed to what the Bible says about the new man in Christ and you will be able to live holy life effortlessly.  blessed?

The Force of Righteousness (2)

"Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living." (Romans 6:18 NLT)
The man born again does not have dual nature, he has only one nature - the nature of God (2 Pet. 1:3); every living being produces after his /its kind, and everyone born of God is in the 'class of God'.
We make mistakes when we put the Bible aside, and form beliefs and opinions based on human experiences. Example of such mistakes is to PRESUME that believers have sinful nature because you have seen a number of believers fall into sin over again.
For the man born again, the sinful nature has been annihilated - the born again man does not have sinful nature, its has been irreversibly removed from him. The following scriptures proves that:
"In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts)." (Colossians 2:11 AMP)

"knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin."(Romans 6:6 NKJV)

"And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." (Galatians 5:24 NKJV)

What then should a sinning believer do? He should take heed to Rom.12:1-2 and Phil.4:8; he should renew his mind.
By the new birth, the man born again became a 'part-taker' of the divine nature which is the nature of righteousness: having become a partaker, he has become a 'participant' in the activities of the divine life. The only nature he has now, is the nature of righteousness, he is an active participant in the activities of the righteous life because of the nature which he has received.  As sin abides in the unbeliever as a nature, so does the nature of righteous lives in the believer. A goat can not combine the animalistic and human nature, and an unbeliever could not have both the sinful nature and the nature of God at same time, the believer could neither have the two at same time. "...since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. (Romans 6:2-4 NLT).    got it?

The Force of Righteousness (1)

Righteousness is the ability to stand before the awesome God without cringing fear or shamefacedness.
If a natural man (unbeliever) gets the opportunity to be aware of the presence of the Most holy God, he can't but be conscious of his sinfulness and his unworthiness (Isaiah 6:1-5). The person of God, just like His word,  is like a revealing light that exposes the true nature of man such that he himself sees his most immaculate righteousness as a filthy rag when brought under the spot light of the holy God.
Hence, right standing before God is not only a strange phenomenon to man but its an absolute impossibility. If man must stand before God unashamed, then it must be a gift. That's why righteousness came through the redemption of our Lord Jesus a GIFT (Rom. 5:17; 1Cor.1:30)
We have received the righteousness of Jesus; we are clothed with His righteousness, and because of that, I can stand before God in full confidence and boldness: because i am "...found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; (Philippians 3:9 NKJV)
Therefore, when a believer says he is righteous, he is not proud or pompous, he is only saying who he really is in Christ. It is thus out of place to refer to believers' righteousness as filthy rag, that will amount to pouring contempt on the blood of the everlasting covenant shed by our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
The Bible says "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so..." (Psalms 107:2 NKJV) In the same light, let him who has been made righteousness by God say so!  blessed?

REJOICE!

"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4 NKJV)
The kingdom of God operates by law: the law of faith!
The benefits of the kingdom, its rights and privileges as well as its sway can only be appropriated by faith.
The believer is commanded to 'rejoice always' - yet as long as he is in the world, various circumstances and experiences would present 'themselves' as excuses for sadness.
So what should he do when he has every reason to be sad and grumble?  The Bible yet says, he should rejoice, it implies that if the believer would heed the command to rejoice always, he must do it in FAITH in spite of feelings.
Have you lately had reason(s) to grumble or gripe; due to failure, disappointments, embarrassment, rejection, betrayal or you even feel God was not there for you when you needed Him; whatever your condition is, Bible says you should rejoice by faith.
Rejoice because he loved you so much to have died for you (John 3:16);
rejoice because God is your father (1John3:1);
rejoice because you are blessed, sanctified, justified,  delivered, empowered (Eph. 1:3, Heb. 10:10, Rom. 5:1, Col. 1:13, Acts 1:8);
rejoice because God is faithful to His word and His word remains ever true (Jer. 1:12,
rejoice because because He will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb. 13:5-6)
rejoice because He is coming back for you (1Thes. 4:13-18)
The consciousness of such realities as these naturally inspire joy; if you would live full of joy in spite of circumstances you must of necessity shift  your attention from your issues and fix your heart on the realities of the word.
Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say, rejoice!

Beware of Pride!

Pride is sublte, it doesnt come with ugly voice or tone; it only makes its bearer more and more self-conscious. It doesn't appear dangerous and it comes unassuming, clothing itself with such apparel as "it doesn't matter"; yet, many glorious destinies have been ruined, because the carriers shifted their attention From God and put it on 'self'
Beware!
"Then Uzziah prepared for them, for the entire army, shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows, and slings to cast stones. And he made devices in Jerusalem, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and the corners, to shoot arrows and large stones. So his fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped till he became strong. But when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he transgressed against the Lord his God by entering the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense. So Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him were eighty priests of the Lord —valiant men. And they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him, “ It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed! You shall have no honor from the Lord God.” Then Uzziah became furious; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the incense altar. And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there, on his forehead, he was leprous; so they thrust him out of that place. Indeed he also hurried to get out, because the Lord had struck him." (II Chronicles 26:14-20 NKJV)
Beware, Again I say, beware!

Harvest of Souls (3)

"Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols." (Acts 17:16 NKJV)
The believer is different from the world, He is not an ordinary human being; He is more than a man; He has the life of God, the nature of God is in him, he thus sees EVERYTHING from entirely different perspective; he sees things from God`s perspective, which is entirely different from man`s.
Hence, the man others refer to as hopeless, incorrigible sinner, the believer sees him as an object of God`s love and a potential instrument in His hands.
In the same light, when the believer sees moral decadence and unrighteousness, he is not dejected or demoralised, neither does he see hopelessness; rather, he sees opportunity for harvest - harvest of souls for the kingdom of God.
"Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Luke 5:31, 32 NKJV)
The unprecedented rise in iniquity in the world today as prophesied by our Lord should be an incitement to pray more (Rom. 10:1) and to preach, for we have been commissioned to reach out to the dark world, to the sinners and the ungodly.
Instead of pointing accusing finger, talking about crime rate and the deplorable state of the word, you should rather turn your censure to prayer points; he has lost cognisance of his priestly office, distracted from the divine mandate and even belittles himself, the believer who all he does is 'talking' and refuse to preach (matt.28:19-20) and pray (Rom.10:1).
So much of talking, it is time to put-in the sickle of prayer and preaching i order to reap the harvest of souls for whom Christ died; for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. What's your decision?

Harvest of Souls (2)

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 NKJV)
What a great fervour of intense spiritual warmth! Jesus was born to die, He came to die for sinners - and he did so in wholesome submission to the will of God. Romans 5:8 readily comes to mind, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 NKJV)
Never was a man treated with such extreme malice, He was treated with utmost contempt; He was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief; He was mocked and spat on, trampled upon, tormented and tortured. Alas! His great grieve notwithstanding, it is 'bizarre' that He was not mindful of Himself neither did He seek to be delivered.
"He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth." (Isaiah 53:7 NKJV)
Believers are the set of people, Jesus has commissioned to share His burden and passion for the lost souls; hence our hearts are men to burn with the fervent passion for the lost souls.
Our soul must be a furnace of burning zeal for the harvest of souls. The heart that is void of such passion is a backsliden one. A cold heart is a siamese with a sinful one. Coldness of heart towards the dying world is an anomaly because you were born again to "burn".
I remember the epitaph on Adam Clark's grave "in living for others I am burned out"
Your heart must be filled with love and compassion for the lost, it must be your sleeping and waking thought; you must dream it, sing it and preach it; it must make you skip your meal, it must consume your thought.
Your ambition, dream and vision must be woven with the strands of love for the sinners.
Self-consciousness, self-indulgence and gratification will hinder; laxity, sin and revelling will wreck us.
Do all you could to wake this passion in your heart, let go of worldliness, let go of carnality, give yourself over to the word and much prayers; it is the end-time, it is the time for harvest, the harvest of souls! Precious souls for whom Christ died.
What's your decision?

Harvest of Souls (1)

"I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work." (John 9:4 NKJV)
Eternity beckons, the world is gradually passing away according to the word of God (1John 2:17); the coming of our Lord is imminent; yet there are still many souls for whom He died who are still lost in darkness.
Beloved saint, how passionate are you about the salvation of the perishing souls? There was never a generation in the whole of human history that was as distracted as ours; the concern of Jesus whether he would find faith on earth when He comes, has become most relevant to us than to other generations before us.
Are you going to remain in your comfort zone, only pursuing your carrier, and just pleasing yourself, while precious souls for whom Christ died proceed on their way to hell?
God is still counting on you. He left you on earth as His representative not for self gratification, which has been the major preoccupation of many saints today; you are here for His purpose! To do His bidding, to fulfil His will, to reap the harvest of souls, to preach the gospel of Christ to the dying world.
Remember! There is a specified time frame of relevance for you on earth; you will not always have the opportunity and the strength to evangelize, "for the night cometh when no man shall be able to work".
What's your decision?

The Simplicity of "The Faith" (2)

"And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and Power" (ICor. 2:4 NKJV)
The gospel of Salvation is Simple - Christ and Him Crucified - no more, no less. Any attempt to garnish or enhance it with human ideas and opinions rubs it of its efficacy.
The gospel is not complex or complicated, the reason its Presentation  in teaching and preaching must be kept simple.
Preachers! if your audience will ever exercise faith in the ability of God, then you have a responsibility to Present the Plain gospel in a simple way.
Looking for the so-called 'revelation' where it does not exist is detrimental to the growth and influence of the word over the heart of men. The word of God is simple and plain, it has in itself the very ability of God, yet many are not experiencing its efficacy because they stumble at its simplicity. This is the error of the Pharisees and majority of Israelites.
"Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2. "For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God."(Romans 10:1-3 NKJV)
Paul spoke of the mystery he received from the Lord; the mystery which pervades all his epistles, being the building blocks of all his writing. And he suggests to us that the way to understand this mystery is to 'Read'- as you read you understand; simple! viz:
3. "how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery as I have briefly written already, 4.by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ' (Eph.3:3-4 NKJV)

The Simplicity of "The Faith" (1)

"But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (II Corinthians 11:3 NKJV)
The glory and the sublimity of the Christian life consist in its simplicity; Salvation is a noble gift of God, yet it is not for the nobles, the rich, the wise nor even the pious and the sanctimonious; it is not based on merit or social status. It's only for those would receive it in simple faith, the noble, the rich, the ignoble and poor alike.
"For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence." (I Corinthians 1:26-29 NKJV)
Those who want to work for it would never and can never have it.
"Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:1-3 NKJV)
A little wonder, no rule nor law is required to be saved, ONLY BELIEVE!
The Law of Moses has list of 'dos' and 'don'ts' but the gospel of Jesus only one injunction - “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31 NKJ)
:Jesus has done it all! no more work to do but a life to live; living out the life of God in the ability and enablement of His Spirit, this is what it means to work out your salvation (Phil. 2:12).
Glory!! We have entered into His rest; no more work to do but a life to live, the very life of God. Hallelujah!

Reigning in Life

"For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:17 NKJV)
The verse could be paraphrased as "if by Adam's offence, spiritual death which is the nature of satan reign over humans much more, they who receive abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness shall reign in life by Jesus Christ.
The Amplified translation and some other translations, translated it as, "reign as Kings in life"
What are we to reign over? - Devil and demons, circumstances, diseases, sin, hatred and everything that is of the devil. For the fact that Mark 16:15-17 says the believer could cast out devils is a proof that the believer has ascendancy over them.
As we get into God's Word and meditate on its truth we actually begin in practical experience to reign in life by Christ Jesus
"giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love" (Colossians 1:12, 13 NKJV)
The Apostle Paul is talking here about giving thanks unto God the Father for something that belongs to us right now - God has made us able to be partakers of the of the inheritance of the saints in light.
The saints inherited something, and verse 13 begins to tell us about that inheritance...
Firstly, God has delivered us from the power, or authority of satan. By implication, it was a total emancipation from everything that belongs to satan such as sickness, sin, disease, poverty - He has taken us from under the control and dominion of darkness and placed us far far above.
Hence, Instead of satan reigning over us, we are to reign over him.
Too often, Believers are ruled and dominated by the devil, circumstances and everything else in this world.
This is not suppose to be, having identified with wonderful Name of Jesus we are to reign in His power and dominion: all we do is win!

Healing For You in The Name of Jesus!

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17, 18 NKJV)
Healing for our physical bodies is part and parcel of the Gospel of Christ. He did not only take our sins, he also took our finfirmities and bore our sicknesses, (Isaiah 53:4-5 Matthew 8:17 1 Peter 2:24) and this healing provided by redemption is administered in His name. "Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (Acts 3:6 NKJV)
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, forgiveness of sins belongs to the Christian and you need to see that it is just as easy to be healed as it is to be forgiven of your sins; If you would start believing that, it would work for you.
When we became identified with His Name we received the right to heal the sick in His Name. It was simply that we might bring on the scene through His Name, the fulness of His finished work, and that the afflicted one might know that in that Name the living Christ is present.
During the eathly ministry of Jesus, before He minisered to the sick, He asked them time and again, if they believe. He said in John 11:40 that "if you would believe, you would see the glory of God."
Matthew 9:27-28 "And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."
I ask you too, dear reader, 'do you believe in the healing power of Jesus?
Matthew 13:58 "Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."
If yo would believe, you would be healed in your body.
I command ailment to leave your body in Jesus Name; You are made whole in the mighty Name of Jesus; the healing power of God is surging through your body, strengthening all the feeble parts of your body in Jesus Name!

True Faith Vs Mental Assent

"and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” (Romans 4:21, 22 NKJV)
Faith in the Word of God Works ALL the time, it produces result ALWAYS, it is consistent, it does not fail.
If you claim your faith is not working; you might need to do a reality check, because, most of what we call faith are mere mental assent, whose fickle nature is only exposed in times of test and trials.
Mental assent or casual agreement with the truth cannot sustain a man or produce result; the best it does is to FALSELY stay in the 'head' as faith until the time of test when it will crash as it must.
How did you garner the present 'conviction' you have? is it by the truth of God's Word or by hearsay.
Please, do reality check. ok?

Praying In The Name of Jesus (3)

"And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." (John 16:23, 24 NKJV)
When Jesus said "in that day" He was referring to the days which begin after His resurrection when His name will be available for believers.
While Jesus was on earth, His disciples did not pray  in His Name. Hence he said "until now you have asked nothing in my name..." It was after He rose from the dead, conquered the hosts of hell, was seatted at the father's right hand, far above all principality and power and might and dominion that the church could pray in His Name.
"Ask and you shall receive and your joy will be full " this does not suggest repitive asking in unbelief. It suggests certainty of receiving what you desire in His Name. His Name guarantees answer to our prayer.
John 14:12-14
Example of believer's authority is found in Acts 3 with peter and John at the gate called Beautiful. Peter said in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk" He demanded that the man get up and walk in the Name of Jesus.
It's wonderful to know we have become 'partners' with the Almighty God, exercising His authority in prayers through the wonderful Name of Jesus.

Praying in The Name of Jesus (2)

"Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive,  that your joy may be  full." (John 16:24 NKJV)
Asking in the name of Jesus means to demand something to happen in HisName having been vested with His authority. It does not mean to offer a beggarly request in hope that He will do it if he so wishes.
When the believer is praying, it is as though Jesus Himself is praying: the believer is standing in the position He has been placed by Christ and so the believer must pray like He prayed.
Examples of how Jesus prayed -
He was bold in His approach and the Bible admonished us to pray likewise (Hebrews 10:22)
He prayed with utmost assurance of being heard - at the tomb of Lazarus He said, "Father I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me,” (John 11:41, 42 NKJV)
The prayer of the believer is based on Jesus' merit and righteousness not ours; Hence, prayer in His Name must be done in way that is consistent with His Character and His finished work on the Cross.
No longer should the believer beg God to do something; Jesus never begged God to get anything done, He simply acted in His authority; and so should we if we must pray to get result.
No longer should we doubt if God will or will not hear us: Jesus said God hears Him always (John 11:42), Bible says He "hears" the believer also (1John 5:14)
This is grace! God in common ground with man as he prays in The Name of Jesus. Come on friends, lets stand 'boldly' before the throne of Grace, making things happen through prayers. blessed?

Praying In The Name of Jesus (1)

"And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:13, 14 NKJV)
The Name of Jesus has given entirely different outlook to Prayer.
The believer's Prayer is based on the access granted through Christ Jesus (Eph.3:12). Hence, there is no such thing as unanswered payer, there can only be prayer of unbelief or we can only pray amiss. All the prayers we call unanswered are either Prayers prayed in unbelief or prayers not prayed according to His will (1 John 5:14; James 4:3)
Praying in the name of Jesus does not necessarily mean to mention His Name while praying. Just like Jesus said in John 10:25, that He is doing His work in His Father's Name, yet, he didn't go around saying "in the Name of God, rise up and walk". There is nothing wrong in literarily mentioning His Name while praying, but the most important issue is that there is a spiritual relationship between the praying man and bearer of that great Name.
Anytime someone who has identified with Jesus by accepting Him as his Lord and Savior is praying, the person is accepted by God as praying in the Name of Jesus.
The implication is that, there is no more barrier, believers can pray freely through Jesus with utmost confidence of being heard.
"according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence."(Ephesians 3:11, 12 NIV)
Go ahead and pray without holding back, dear saints of God, for the Name of Jesus avails for you. blessed?

Authority In The Name of Jesus

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,  “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:18, 19 NKJV)Just before He ascended to be seated at the right hand of the father, Jesus said "All power is given me in heaven and in earth." He immediately delegated His authority to the Church by saying "go ye therefore", meaning: "because” all power is mine, go! I will work through you; I will speak through you; I will manifest my power through you; nothing will be able to resist you;
and in the same breath, He said in Mark 16  that in His name signs will accompany the believers.
Jesus has been lifted to the highest position of the Universe. he is seated at the right hand of the Father on high, far above all power. Ephesians 1:19-23
God has conferred upon Him the highest name in the Universe
According to Philippians 2:5-8 . God has bestowed upon Him, honor, glory and power
"The right hand of God" where Christ is seated does not mean that Christ is seated literarily on the right hand side of God: It is a figurative expression that describes the fact that Jesus is occupying the highest position of power and authority in heaven and earth.
The Name of Jesus has all the dignity, all the majesty, and all the glory of His person and everyone who has come to identify with His name can do great works and even greater; we can administer His authority over demons, evil and circumstances of life.
When you know it, enter into it, and your heart grows accustomed to it, you will walk in such victory you have never known.

The Salvation of God by Reinhard Bonke

The greatest and most costly of all God’s works is salvation. It was a challenge to His omnipotence to which He responded with infinite love and sacrifice. His supreme claim was that He alone could save. It lay uniquely within His sovereign will. Jesus came to fulfill God’s will that the Divine order would go into full operation for the salvation of mankind. The power of the will of God broke through on earth. For the first time ever known, the ‘lost’ were found. Jesus singled out sinful people considered beyond the pale, called them to Himself and restored them. Our Lord Jesus did more than save a few prodigals. He produced evidence of what the future would be - the day of salvation was coming, when the Holy Spirit of God would be at work, and the stream of those repenting and confessing would never end. We rejoice, because we swim in the glorious river of God. Have a blessed day. God bless you. REINHARD BONNKE

Salvation Through The Name of Jesus

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 NKJV)
There is No name except that divinely appointed one, Mat 1:21, by which  a man can be saved  - none given under heaven - no other means ever devised by God Himself for the salvation of a lost world.
God resolved in His purpose and decree,  in His counsel and covenant, upon the salvation of the world; and He appointed His Son to be the means of salvation; He determined He would save the world by Him, and by no other, and in no other way; hence whoever is saved, must be saved by Him,
Hosea 1:7  "But I will have mercy on Judah and will give them salvation by the Lord their God, but not by the bow or the sword or by fighting or by horses or horsemen." (BBE, the Arabic version adds, "unless by him only").
"Jesus said to him,  “I am  the way,  the truth, and  the life.  No one comes to the Father  except through Me." (John 14:6 NKJV)
He was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world; and no man ever came, or can come, to the Father but by him.
As regards the means of salvation, there is no other name; object or person, be it ever so great, or whatever religion or pious devotion, neither  show of power and strength, of holiness, religion,  nor influence as the name of kings, princes, and the great men in the world; none but the name of Jesus, His  person, blood, and righteousness.
Religion cannot save, only Jesus saves. Have you met Jesus?

The Wonderful Name of Jesus (2)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater  works  than these he will do, because I go to My Father.    And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be  glorified in the Son." (John 14:12-13 NKJV)
The significance of the Name of Jesus to the believer consist in the fact that having identified with Him through salvation, we have received the power of attorney to act in His name, to act in His stead.
Jesus during His earthly ministry raised the dead, healed the sick, delivered people from the oppression of the devil, He preached the gospel in the power of the Spirit (Luke 4:18-19); demons could not withstand His presence (Mark 5:6). In summary, the earthly ministry of Jesus  was a raw demonstration of the power of God and this power has been vested in His Name.
The measure of Jesus' ability is the measure of the value of His name; and all supernatural ability and might that is invested in His Name belongs to the Church TOADY for He given us unqualified identification  with His name.
We have received power of attorney to act in His name i.e we have a legal authority to act on His behalf - we are the legal representatives of Jesus on earth today.
It means we can do what He did (John 14:12-14) - It means Jesus can do through us everything He intends to do on earth today as though He is physically present.
All hail! No more defeat; gone forever is the dominion of the devil; never again will we be subject to the devil. Having identified with the Name of Jesus, we have been made conquerors, more than conquerors we are!
Jesus, the captain of our salvation has disarmed the devil, he has 'spoilt' principalities and the spiritual wickedness in  heavenly places; and He has given us the authority "not to fight for victory" but to ADMINISTER His victory over demons, circumstances, sickness, and the system of this present evil world: In his Name we reign as kings in life, So says Romans 5:17:
"For if by the one man’s offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."
We have identified with highest the Name in heaven, on earth and under the earth, we are   'hyper-conquerors'. seen it?

The Wonderful Name of Jesus (1)

"And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and  became  obedient to  the    point    of  death, even the death of the cross.  Therefore God also  has highly exalted Him and  given Him the name which is above every name,"  (Philippians 2:8-9 NKJV)
We know the names of kings, princes and the nobles which are respected among humans; many have even taken it upon themselves to learn the names of demons by heart, they 'revere' those names claiming that such names should not be called any how, because calling it could invoke evil. Whatever that means.
But there is a Name that is above all Names - the Name of Jesus!  All other Names in heaven and earth are subject to Him, demons tremble at instance of His Name.
The Name of Jesus is more than an ordinary name, it is more than a name! it's 'reservoir' of supernatural power; full of power
Salvation, deliverance, forgiveness and freedom from sin, ascendancy over the devil and much more comes by identifying with His Name.
When all other names would have faded and fizzle out His will remain fresh and powerful, full of wonder and might!
