True Wisdom (3)

"But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere" (James 3:17 NLT).
Ever thought of the wonderful attributes of divine wisdom the predicate of which is the knowledge of God's word.
It is pure in itself, it is free from everything that's unrighteous; purity of heart, life & conversation re its hallmark. It stands in sharp contrast to lusts, pride, envy, bitterness and evil concupiscence which all reign in/among humans. What humans call wisdom (James 3:15) is not wisdom at all in d light of these wonderful virtues of divine wisdom.
True wisdom inclines those who have it to live in peace not just with all men but also with enemies; it urges them to readily forgive injuries done them while they recede from their just right for the sake of peace and love; not bearing hard on others for their failings but cover them with mantle of love!
Hmnn! What a challenge for believers to do thorough self-examination to know if they re really getting things right.
Are you walking in wisdom?
