"...Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." (1Cor.1:24)
The greatest testimony to the infinite wisdom of God is Jesus Christ - the divine wisdom personified. For in Christ, mercy did not lag to save humanity while the demand of divine justice was fully met. Man was punished by divine justice and was saved by divine mercy - all in Christ.
In redemption through Christ, God indeed abounded towards us in all wisdom and prudence (Eph.1:8); sin was condemned and yet the sinner was saved; pardon & justification given by grace in the face of strict justice; all the divine attributes were harmonised and God has thereby executed His wise design and counsel.
Yea! even the wisdom of God is seen in Christ's dying the death of the Cross, by which He was made a curse for us, that He might redeem us from curses, by so much we became partakers of the blessing of Abraham.
